This three-bedroom, three-bathroom home resides in the coastal foothills of a beloved area of Santa Barbara known as The Mesa, where locals hang out at great coffee shops, dining is within walking distance,  and surfers with their boards strapped on bikes cruise to and from the beach within minutes. The great room is welcoming and nicely appointed, with a fireplace, a leather sofa, a television, and armchairs. Savor the moments after the meal at the high-top dining table, the window framing the ocean view in the distance. Whether streaming trending shows, exploring the vast DVD collection, or playing the piano, there is something for every guest to enjoy.  The open-plan, remodeled kitchen is a joy to cook, pack a picnic, or set the scene for a fabulous meal with cabinets full of great dishes, glassware, cocktail tools, and serving pieces. Perch at the island and appreciate the ocean views while sipping a local vintage before dinner. Even if it is time to do the dishes, the pretty view will make the time go by quickly!  Additionally on this level are two guest bedrooms, each with queen-size beds, a hall bathroom, and another full bathroom in the laundry room.

The primary suite occupies the entire second floor and features an office space with a desk, printer, and TV. The true gifts of the private sanctuary are the ocean views through picture windows and two separate view terraces. The comfy king-size bed lies beneath a stunning wood ceiling in keeping with the Mission style throughout the home. As with any well-appointed vacation home, the attached bathroom has a luxurious shower, multiple shower heads and sprayers, and a generous walk-in closet.   At sunrise, the east terrace is ideal for that first essential sip of coffee or morning meditation. On the south-facing terrace, a high-top table invites slower moments to savor a glass of bubbly at sunset and plan tomorrow's activities.

In the enclosed backyard, more options for entertaining are in store, with a putting green, basketball hoop, firepit, spa tub, and an outdoor shower. Dine al fresco under bistro lights at the generous-sized dining table with a portable gas heater. There are even bikes available, making it effortless to get around. Visit Lazy Acres gourmet market or Mesa Produce for fresh, local produce. Or, if a burger and fries are more in order, save time for Mesa Burger, owned by celebrity chef Cat Cora. Some of the best burgers and truffle fries in town!  Even downtown is just a five-minute drive, and Santa Barbara City College is just down the street.
