A very attractive, comfortable and functional carriage house cottage in Santa Barbara.

Close to great restaurants, Main Street and the beach. The hosts were fantastic - very friendly and accommodating. The cottage is perfect for a couple or solo traveler. The private courtyard with hot tub and outdoor shower was a real treat. Highly recommend. Also great WiFi if you are working remotely.

I HIGHLY recommend staying at this place. We were there for 7 weeks working from home during COVID and it was the perfect getaway. The view is amazing, and the apartment is secluded and it has the nicest backyard/jacuzzi

“We had the most amazing time staying here! The apartment is small, but it has lots of little nooks to sit and work, and tons of storage space. We loved the outdoor spaces, especially the hot tub and the outdoor shower! Communication with VROSB was so easy, and the welcome book had lots of great recommendations. The location of the cottage was great too - it's close to downtown without being loud or busy, easy to get on the freeway, and a short drive to Montecito. We walked to the Farmer's Market one day, of course ate at Los Agaves, La Superica, Bossie's and The Shop on Milpas. We loved it so much that we booked again for next year!”

The Cota Cottage was seriously a little slice of heaven and way exceeded expectations. Exactly as shown in the pics, if not better. Beautifully decorated, but also extremely well appointed, and by that I mean the highest quality sheets, thickest plushest towels, beautiful furniture, [added hangers, every detail you can imagine taken care of to the highest quality. The cottage itself is extremely private, there is not only a hot tub and private lounging area in the back but a private outdoor shower as well with an amazing supply of hot water. The kitchen is spacious, well appointed with everything you could need from olive oil to the keurig coffee. Two huge closets for all your luggage and hanging items, bathroom stocked with all the things you might have forgotten like q-tips and travel size shampoo. Parking was a breeze, location was excellent (must walk to Los Agaves for dinner one night when you stay - best Mexican I had ever tasted!). Ocean view, lots of private nooks to have breakfast or read while someone else in another area of the house, kitchen removed from the bedroom so if you are an early riser like me you can prepare breakfast without disturbing anyone. We didn't use the TV but great entertainment setup and cozy couch to cuddle on to watch movies if you wanted and laundry on the premises which is an amazing added benefit. Will definitely be back!!!!

My wife and I spent 3 weeks here in December and thought it was great. The apartment is down a narrow driveway and over a garage, but don't let that put you off - inside it is bright and cheery, with a nice balcony, good kitchen, and private use of a small courtyard with hot tub. And it is walking distance from several great Mexican places on Milpas Street, and a short drive or long walk (30 minutes) from downtown.
