Just one mile from the popular Santa Barbara Mission and Rose Garden and only four blocks to shopping and restaurants on State Street. Or, you can enjoy some of the local favorites at the neighborhood pizza , coffee and ice cream stops just around the corner! As for the beaches, they are only minutes away by car.
Whether you are visiting for the weekend or for a longer stay, you will find all that you need to be comfortable in this fully updated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, ideal for sleeping 4 people. This bright and spacious home features crown molding throughout and an open floor plan. Enjoy a large kitchen with granite countertops, custom cherry cabinetry and a peninsula with built-in wine and beverage refrigerators. It is fully equipped with modern appliances and all of the necessary culinary items needed for cooking and dining at home. There is even a built-in space for work if you just cannot leave the office behind.
Adjacent to the kitchen you will enjoy a spacious living room with a gas-burning fireplace, flat screen TV, comfortable seating, and air conditioning (which can be very difficult to find in Santa Barbara).
The master bedroom features a king size bed and has a large closet with custom organizer and a remodeled bathroom with dual vanity sinks. The guest bath also features two sinks and a tub/shower combo. The guest bedroom looks out over the private front yard and has a queen size bed.
Through the back sliding patio door of the kitchen you will find a large grassy lawn and an expansive deck, perfect for sitting in the sun or al fresco dining. We had a fantastic weekend at this property and it was the perfect private house/yard for our dog, who felt right at home. We started each morning with a walk to the nearby coffee shop and walked to get ice cream at night. The house was great for our family of four and we enjoyed having a space all to ourselves not too far from the center of Santa Barbara. Highly recommend!

The Location is Amazing!!
We left Phoenix at 119° to arrive at Santa Barbara with a cool 72° forecast. The deck was our hangout at the house. Very private and lush. The house was well stocked with everyday items. This location is amazing for ease of getting around. The off street parking is a must in Santa Barbara. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Spectacular Home!!!
We had a wonderful time in a truly spectacular home!!! The house is absolutely beautiful, the private front yard and back yard were enjoyed by all, the plants and trees added privacy and a lovely atmosphere to sit back, breathe, and relax. We loved that our dog was welcomed!
We loved the neighborhood, the vibe, the accessibility by walking to amenities, our dog was welcomed,. Our month stay made us realize it just wasn't enough time! The weather was almost always sunny, and except one torrential rainy day, we just put on a rain coat and hiked or biked in comfortable weather. Oh, the ocean , the hills, the art, the wine,did I forget the wine? Only 1 day out of the month we stayed in but for 29; so it was perfect.

I overall loved the property and felt at home!
I stayed here for my wedding and honeymoon and choose this house because I loved the tropical feel of the backyard and how it had two different rooms that were far enough away for privacy. The backyard ended up being my favorite place to spend time while we were at the house! It's in a great location, I walked to The Daily Grind coffee shop every morning. It's a short Uber ride downtown as well. We had a small issue with a clogged drain in the master bedroom shower and I reached out via text to the team and they responded right away and had someone fix it the next day. The check in process was really easy and check out was even easier! I overall loved the property and felt at home and comfortable right away and like I said I didn't want to leave the backyard! I'd stay here again 100%! Thanks to the team for making it a great experience!

We were really so impressed!
A friend, my dog and I stayed at this house for 3 nights. A “get out of LA” hiking excursion. The house is bigger than the pictures suggest. The property has a beautiful, shaded garden that is fully fenced in front and back. The two bedrooms are at opposite sides of the hallway, offering privacy. Each room has a bathroom available to it. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was is good shape, although we didn’t really cook. The house and grounds were immaculate. The heater worked well. The two, large TVs were easy to use and offered premium cable channels. The property is well-thought-out. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We were really so impressed! One warning for people who are very sensitive to outdoor sound - it is on a busy street. Most of that noise is blocked by high fencing and vegetation. It has its own, generous parking area in the rear of the property. I look forward to staying here again.

Fabulous location!
Fabulous location. Walking distance to state street and of course local ice creams. This place is so marvelously landscaped they it's a totally private oasis from and back while being in the middle of everything. Our two standard poodles loved the back and front totally private fenced-in yards. We enjoyed lunches on the back patio. And countless walks from the front door around the calm neighborhood. Easy parking behind the house. Thank you!

Own Private Paradise!
This house was so much better than we expected. The check-in instructions were a breeze. Walking onto the property was like walking into your own private paradise. The house was so nice and clean. The overall feel of the place was so homie. My kids loved playing in the front and back yards and i felt so comfortable letting them explore. We would definitely recommend this place and I will being booking this place again next year.

A Great Find!
Santa Barbara is our getaway from the San Diego area and we've visited many times over the years, staying in various SB neighborhoods. Mission Bungalow was just perfect for our stay. Great, easy access location to everything, beautifully remodeled home with all of the amenities, perfect floor plan for two couples. It's apparent the owners have taken great attention to detail making sure no stone was left unturned. The property is completely fenced, private and beautifully landscaped. Not to mention, Vacation Rentals of Santa Barbara was so easy to work with and we appreciated the easy communication and follow-up! We loved it and will return!

The property is tucked into a great little neighborhood just Northwest of State Street. The yard is surrounded by fencing and jasmine bushes, so it is extremely private. It feels like you are in an oasis in the middle of the city. If you have dogs they will love it! A great little coffee place is right around the corner as well as an ice cream shop and restaurants. Such a great place to unwind and relax at after a day at the beach (5-15 min drive depending on the beach). I would absolutely book this place again in the future!

Three lovely days in Santa Barbara
The Mission Bungalow was perfect for our three-day weekend. Lovely and warm two bedroom cottage, walking distance to town, a great coffee place only one block away (The Daily Grind), and a fenced-in yard for our two dogs. Easy access to the freeway and a short drive to the Hendry dog beach and the Douglas Family Preserve, which our dogs always love. We highly recommend this house!

This home is perfectly located just a five minute drive to the beach and a five minute walk to local restaurants and coffee shops. It is exactly as pictured and we thoroughly enjoyed the back deck with the BBQ. Another plus is this house is air-conditioned and although, it's not necessary very often due to the temperate year-round Santa Barbara weather, it was good to have at night while we were sleeping. We loved this house and we had a wonderful vacation. The desk area in the kitchen and the high speed wifi enabled us to work while we were there too. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent week in Santa Barbara
Mission Bungalow was a wonderful base for a week in Santa Barbara. The house is scrupulously clean and up to date. The outdoor space is large and surprisingly secluded for a city setting. Our dog was so happy to have a safe, fenced area to explore. The location made it pleasant to stroll to dinners on State Street. The rental company representatives were responsive and helpful.

The Perfect House
This house was perfect for our weekend getaway to SB! The house was extremely clean, well-appointed and comfortable the four adults and one almost-5 month old baby. A kitchen and washer/dryer are must when traveling with a little one. The kitchen was updated and very clean and the washer/dryer was located conveniently adjacent to the kitchen. FABULOUS HOUSE & LOCATION!
I don't think we've ever stayed at a vacation rental that was MORE stocked and accommodating. From booking to departure, our visit was wonderful.
The house was clean, it had EVERYTHING you could need in it. LOVE the big private driveway it has total privacy. I would absolutely recommend staying here when visiting SB!

Great week!
Fantastic location with easy access to 101 and walking distance to coffee shop and restaurants. House was clean and beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Would stay here again
Loved this home, very will maintained and fully equipped with everything we needed. Felt like we were at home, loved the patio where we could enjoy the outdoors in either shade or sun, watching the many humming birds in the trees above us.
