Vacation Rentals of Santa Barbara’s Guest Response to COVID-19

DECEMBER 1ST, 2020 UPDATE --

Our commitment to the health and safety of our community, our team, our owners, and our guests remains strong as we all continue to adapt in midst of the ongoing pandemic. We understand the anxiety that may come with changed or cancelled plans and we want to do everything in our power to bring you peace of mind while maintaining our property owners' best interests. Our revised COVID policies are as follows:

Cleaning Protocol: our rigorous cleaning protocol continues to be maintained and followed. Our housekeeping crews are taking every precaution while cleaning our houses in-between guests to ensure their and your safety. Our cleaning protocols are all in-line with CDC and VRMA guidelines.

Cancellation Protocol: Our cancellation policy has always been strict in the effort of protecting the resources of our team and our property owners. However, for stays booked before March 15, 2020, we are considering cancellations on a case-by-case basis. For stays booked after March 15, 2020 with travel insurance, we are asking that guests go through their travel insurance to handle reimbursement for their cancelled or changed plans. For stays booked after March 15, 2020 without travel insurance, we will handle based on a case-by-case basis.

We appreciate your continued support and graciousness as we all navigate through this season together. As always, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance when booking a stay with us. If you have any questions about travel insurance or your future booking with us, please do not hesitate to reach out at info@vrosb.com or (805) 319-4045 ext. 1. Thank you kindly!

APRIL 1ST, 2020 UPDATE --

As we all have had to adapt our systems in the face of COVID-19, Vacation Rentals of Santa Barbara wants to make you, our esteemed guest, aware of what our team is doing to ensure your safety and wellbeing.

One, we have heightened our already high cleaning standards. Our housekeeping crews are taking every precaution while cleaning our houses in-between guests to ensure their and your safety. We continue to disinfect all common areas and surfaces per CDC guidelines.

Two, we are temporarily revising our cancellation policy. Our cancellation policy has always been strict in the effort of protecting the resources of our team and our property owners. However in this unprecedented time of travel bans and shelter-in-place orders, we have deemed it necessary to offer refunds given the circumstances. These refunds and cancellations are being accepted on a case-by-case basis, so please reach out to our friendly Guest Relations team who are working around the clock to answer your questions and meet your needs. They can be contacted at either info@vrosb.com or (805) 319-4045 ext. 1.

Vacation Rentals of Santa Barbara recognizes that when you book a stay with us, you’re not only booking a quality accommodation. You are booking an experience in Santa Barbara, expecting it to be as seamless and memorable as possible. That experience starts the moment you first make contact with our team, far before your check-in date. It is our hope that making these modifications to our business allows you to continue to have a seamless experience, whether that be continuing with, rebooking, or cancelling your stay.

Your safety and satisfaction are important priorities for us and we are working hard to maintain both. We ask that if you have been feeling ill, had a fever, or been in contact with someone who has positively tested for COVID-19 recently, that you suspend your travel plans and either cancel or rebook your stay for a later date. We want to protect our local community and honor the restrictions and advisories set forth by our local, state, and federal agencies. Vacation Rentals of Santa Barbara has been privileged to serve our community for over 14 years and we will continue to do so, even during these uncertain and trying times. We are all in it together!
