Santa Barbara’s world famous beaches, Mission, Pier, and Rose Gardens are all within a 5 minute drive! Charming From Start to Finish!
We recently spent a month at the “Downtown Quaint Cottage” and from the moment we walked through the front door we were charmed and knew it would be a fantastic stay. Everything was spotless, organized, and carefully thought out so that anything we could possibly want or need was readily available… including the staff at Vacation Rentals of Santa Barbara who were extremely responsive and great with follow through. The cottage is even better than the photos show - light and bright throughout - it makes you feel like the spaces are larger than they appear in the photos. The upper story master suite offers a separation of space you don't expect in a smaller house. The location is wonderful - so convenient - yet quiet and private. It was a perfect home-away-from home for my husband, myself and our dog.

Everything was perfect, we enjoyed dinners in the cozy back yard. The house was well decorated, comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the linens, towels, etc was really nice. The house was clean and beautiful.
We had a great communication with Lydia Perez, she was kind, professional, attentive, friendly and welcoming.
We couldn't ask for a better service.

Great March in Santa Barbara
The cottage is perfect for walking downtown and in the surrounding neighborhood. It is quiet and well-equipped. We were lucky to have good weather all month long.

Very Happy With Cottage
We just spent 5 lovely weeks in Santa Barbara and were very happy with our cottage. It was a short walk to downtown and a medium walk to the beach. Easy to get to a car rental location and a well-stocked kitchen. The garden and outdoor eating space was wonderful! It's small - ideal for 2.

Wish we could stay longer!
We had a great time at this cottage. Very clean, beautiful space and the little backyard area was great for the kids to hang out. Very well located, with only a short walk to State St and about 2.5km to the beach. We loved it here and wish we had another few days. :)

Great stay in Santa Barbara!
All communication and instructions were timely and easy to follow. The house was charming and the backyard was a great place to hang out and eat meals. We were very appreciative of the very well stocked kitchen since we love to cook. The location was perfect, it allowed us to walk just about everywhere. The beach chairs and towels were an added plus. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect cottage in downtown SB!
This house is absolutely lovely, a true gem in the heart of SB! It was a perfect getaway for my family and I. The house was super cozy and comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. You can tell the owners put a lot of TLC into the house because the place was very clean and well maintained. We located walking to the shops and restaurants every day. The management was also very accommodating and quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Best Air Bnb I have stayed at in a while! This home was even nicer than I expected. Clean, beautiful and modern. Added bonus that there is a driveway, and key-less entry makes your arrival nice and easy. Great location close to lots of things in Santa Barbara. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

We had a wonderful stay in the home. It had plenty of room for us (3 adults) and we enjoyed the beautiful weather in the lovely private backyard setting. We could walk most places in town and got in a lot of steps! We will definitely consider renting the home again on our next trip to Santa Barbara. Thank you!

Perfect fit, well stocked, and great location!
This cottage was a perfect fit for our group (4 adults and 2 kids)! We were so impressed with how well stocked the property was - plenty of towels, great kitchen, washer/dryer, etc. Everything was very comfortable! The location was perfect - central to State St. and great restaurants. It was an incredibly easy check-in/check-out. We couldn't have been happier - everything went smoothly!

A home away from home!
Curley Cottage was our home away from home. We were in Santa Barbara for my daughter's maxillofacial surgery. The home was outfitted with everything we needed post-surgery including a great kitchen with a blender and two recliners! We stayed for 5 weeks and after the initial recovery, we thoroughly enjoyed walking to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, museums, and theaters. We even walked to the Funk Zone and beach. We were just blocks from the Doctors office which was also convenient. My husband was able to work remotely and it was nice to have the front porch, backyard and upstairs bedroom for phone calls. I would love to come back and stay at Curly Cottage again under better circumstances.

Great place to stay - walking distance to most of Santa Barbara!
This property was well cared for and had everything we need for our 6 night stay. The washer dryer was a godsend for the 4 of us. The back garden was quiet and tranquil as was the area in which the property sits. Thoroughly recommend this property for 2 couples or a family of 4. Only suggestion I have is that the mattresses need replacing.

Walk to State Street from the Curley Cottage
Wonderful 2 bedroom and 2 Bath location with an easy walk to State street. The Kitchen is well equipped with everything needed like your home kitchen. The check in process is simple. Access the home with a keypad, although check out is early at 10am. The home is located off an alley with a driveway to fit one care. The home experience could have been better if the WiFi connection was stronger. WiFi originated from the living room but signal strength dropped to 0.4 Mbps at the Master Bedroom and almost at similar strength from the 2nd Bedroom, so there was really zero connection outside the living/dining area. Overall a great cottage. I hope changes are made to the WiFi (easy upgrade). Would definitely stay here again!

A cute home and perfect for 2 couples
This quaint cottage was in a perfect location.
We walked downtown every day . Parking is provided which is great. Also we used uber a lot and they easily picked us up here. The place was clean and well stocked and had a nice back yard and front porch. It is tucked away on an alley but easy to find

Great Place to Stay in Santa Barbara
We stayed at the cottage for a four-day girlfriend long weekend. The turn-of-the-centuryhouse has been updated so thoughtfully and had everything we needed for a few days in the area. The location was close to shopping and restaurants and we were able to walk practically everywhere we wanted to go. We would definitely recommend to our friends.

The home has a great front porch with rockers and vining flowers, a great place for watching the full moon while we were there! It is fully remodeled and had everything we needed in the home. We were planning to hit the store to buy some basics, but surprisingly everything was there. The house faces an alley so it is quiet with limited traffic and only three blocks to the middle of State St. where we found everything. We only moved the car to go out to the harbor one evening. It is very easy to walk to everything.

The decor is 1st class
Curley Cottage was a great location for 2 weeks of exploring Santa Barbara and the Central Coast area. We kept busy during the day, heading up to wine country, over to the Channel Islands, hiking in Ojai and Carpenteria and Montecito. A high-energy trip: good things we had a well-equipped kitchen to start the day and super comfortable beds to recover from the day's adventures. With great shopping and restaurants within walking distance, the location was perfect, The decor is 1st class. It's obvious that the owners want their guests to feel at home--and we did!

Wouldn't have to think twice about coming back
The house is clean, location is just off the streets so is quiet close to everything. Kitchen was actually a working kitchen in that it was stocked so you could cook if wanted (we mainly did breakfast). Wouldn't have to think twice about coming back. Our daughter goes to school here so would sight see by day and visit by night.

Curley Ave is a lovely hidden gem in Santa Barbara. High-end amenities like granite kitchen, washer-dryer, landscaped yard with outdoor dining. Small details like toiletries, a Wii and kitchen necessities are all at your disposal. About 5-7 minutes from downtown on a quiet, safe side street. Clean and comfortable and classy. I highly recommend.

You will not be disappointed in this cottage. Entire cottage is well stocked and so delightful. Amazed on how clean this cottage is. Had parking which was great. Walk to State Street which is a must. Many wonderful restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Traveled to the piers which is not far. The scenery is so beautiful you cannot stop taking pictures. Plenty of restaurants as well. Recommend taking the trolley tour of Santa Barbara. You learn a great deal about this beautiful city. Of course, you can do wine testing which is a must. Went to the Farmers Market and found that very interesting. Vendors must grow their produce in Santa Barbara and be from Santa Barbara. A unique market. Fresh produce. Not a typical farmers market. Everything is not far from this cottage. Definitely would stay there again and recommend it highly. This was first time in Santa Barbara and was not disappointed. Owners definitely took pride in making you feel welcome in this cottage.

We will definitely rent this place again
My husband and I and another couple rented this cottage for a weekend getaway. The house is so charming with lots of amenities for all. We were very comfortable and felt right at home the minute we entered the cottage. The home has been done up very well with nice appliances, paint colors and bedding! I travel for my job so I am very picky about hotels and rentals that are clean and with updated (newer) bedding. They have movies, music, games, etc. if you want to stay in and a lovely backyard if the weather is nice. The walk to State Street (main strip with shops and restaurants) is not bad at all, very easy walk and a nice area. The size worked out perfectly for two couples since there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We will definitely rent this place again and use Vacation Rentals of Santa Barbara as they were great agency to work with!

The management company was super easy to work with
This cottage was perfect for our girls getaway weekend. There were 5 of us- just enough room in the house. The decor was nice and the home is fully stocked with whatever you need. It was super clean and we had no problems whatsoever. This home is within walking distance of State Street- perfect for shopping and dining. Its a short drive to Sterns Wharf and the beaches. We also took a drive up to Solvang- about 45 minutes away. The girls and I highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again should we make Santa Barbara a destination. The management company was super easy to work with- no problems there either.

I came here with my sisters for a weekend getaway. Everything was so clean when we arrived! We were hoping for a tranquil getaway and this place was perfect. The cottage was charming, the neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful and walking distance to state street. We spent our mornings going for runs on the beach and the afternoons eating McConnell's ice cream. Counter productive but hey, it makes us happy. Location was great for both. It was so nice not to hop in the car every time we wanted to go somewhere. Thank you for a perfect backdrop for our sisters' retreat!

This quaint downtown cottage was so COMFORTABLE!
This quaint downtown cottage was so COMFORTABLE! We did not want to leave! We were really tired when we arrived and didn't even unpack. We just opened the sleeper sofa downstairs and popped in a DVD. We (me, my husband and son) were all asleep within 30 minutes. The owners have put in a lot of time to make sure you are very comfortable. You can tell they have very high end taste and the living room blankets were the softest we have slept with.We napped for awhile and then walked downtown with ease (my 4-year old had no problems walking everywhere- that is how close you are to parks, shops, restaurants, trolley, etc.). Everything in the cottage is top of the line: Adirondacks on the porch, patio furniture outside, casing around the doors, light fixtures, molding, linens, towels, plantation shutters, kitchen utensils, etc. I think two families would be SO happy here and we have already booked our next trip! To sum it up: Luxury, comfort and location location location for sure! We can't wait to come back and will bring more people next time. The home would comfortably sleep 6.

I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a Santa Barbara getaway
It rained the whole time we were in Santa Barbara and I'm still giving this review 5 stars! The cottage is up to date and has everything you need. It's a short walk to fantastic restaurants and shopping. If you don't stop in for pizza at Olio Pizzeria right down the street you're doing yourself a disservice! The neighborhood was quiet and clean and it's very easy to get around town by foot, free shuttle or car.
I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a Santa Barbara getaway.

The people who made the arrangements were 100% professional
My family and I stayed for 8 days and we found the accommodations more than wonderful. The location is two blocks away from State Street, a nice quiet neighborhood but close to everything. The bedrooms were nice sized, the kitchen had every thing you can ask for, the nice secluded backyard was well kept and perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the sun. I really was impressed. My wife is usually somewhat more critical but even she commented on how well the property was clean, well maintained and comfortable. We had three young children and my daughter with us (6 total) and never once felt crowded. I would recommend this condo to anyone - and the people who made the arrangements were 100% professional.

Loved the house and the location
Loved the house and the location. It was everything the listing said. Beautiful little yard. what little we needed from manager was provided quickly and cheerfully. Only problem: too close to too many great restaurants. Gained 5 lbs. over the week.
